As we all look forward to seeing all the the fantastic renovations at Barnsdale Hall Hotel near Rutland Water I was looking back at a recent full wedding there.
This is for Jess and Brad with all the preparation and ceremony right through to the first dance photographed at Barnsdale.
Barnsdale wedding photography is always a pleasure – with the magnificent backdrop of Rutland Water, cheerful and helpful staff, a great patio area with stunning views – all in all a wedding photographer at Barnsdale is spoiled for choice.
After 30 years as a wedding photographer I have learned to listen to the ideas that the bride and groom have for their day, but also to make suggestions to help the day flow more easily while getting some great shots. The example above would never have happened without a prompt – but it is not posed and the bride feels really relaxed – so if you ask me and I say my style is “prompted not posed” then this is exactly what I mean!
Not every shot has to be of the bride and groom – and they don’t have to be formal either, the photograph above just had to be taken.
Well! I did say that there was a superb backdrop of Rutland Water! The height at Barnsdale Hall adds to the view and makes for a stunning backdrop for wedding photography.
A full wedding photography package at Barnsdale Hall will include everything from bridal prep through to the first dance and a few more tunes after that.
This is just a handful of over 300 photographs supplied to the bride and groom from this wedding. Genuinely living so close by I am often considered the Barnsdale wedding photographer.
