Rutland Hall wedding photography

This is a quick look back to a Church wedding followed by a reception at the (then) Barnsdale Hall Hotel which is now the Rutland Hall Hotel.

There have been some amazing improvements at Rutland Hall and I can recommend anyone to ask if they can pop up and see the fabulous improvements there – and it was already really great – being on the banks of Rutland Water with unrivalled backdrops.

As you can see the backdrop is something very special.

I have put a few teaser shots in a small gallery below – these are just a few from several hundred taken on the day and supplied to the couple. Some of these (but not many) are posed, some are taken reportage style, but perhaps my favourites are those which I would describe as “prompted not posed” , so I may have dropped a hint to walk hand-in-hand with Rutland Water in the background, but there is no actual posing in front of the camera at that time and I keep back quite a few metres so the couple can feel relaxed and enjoy their time together.

I’m sure you would be very welcome to visit Rutland Hall to see the changes – if you are thinking of a reception there or anywhere local why not ask if we can visit together and just talk through a few ideas and see what might be possible? After all, I do live in Oakham and have photographed over 700 weddings mostly in Rutland and Lincoln!

My wedding photography can be from 2 hours for a micro-wedding, through 4 hours as a half-day package (the most popular) or may be a full-day either with or without an album included. However, at all weddings that I photograph I always include a USB of all the images full-size with no watermark at no extra charge.
