A look back to Sophie and Thomas married in Exton. with a reception at Stapleford Park
For couples who choose to have my photography services for the whole of their day, there is an option for a “pre-wedding shoot” sometimes referred to as an “engagement shoot” though in practice it is not normally on the day the couple got engaged!
Because Sophie and Thomas were being married at church in Exton with a reception at Stapleford Hall they asked for my service all day – and we arranged an informal shoot a few weeks beforehand. I like to shoot these at the same venue as the reception so we get to walk the route we might take on the day – the whole idea being to make the day run as smoothly as possible – I certainly don’t like to take the couple away from the guests for more than a few minutes on the wedding day, so a trial run can be really useful. Here are just a few more from the day.
We were blessed with mostly fine weather but had to nip indoors from time to time, which is no bad thing given the glorious house and the opportunities it offers for photography outside and inside.
Did I mention the interior of Stapleford Park?
As the day unfolds seamlessly, there is a natural progression for the bride and groom to venture along the walk we had rehearsed some weeks earlier – meaning the couple are relaxed and we are not away too long from the guests – don’t you just hate it when the bride and groom are gone for half an hour or more?
All good things ….as they say …. a tender moment before we returned to the guests.
These are just a handful of hundreds of images supplied to the couple soon after the wedding. All of my couples receive all of their images full size with no watermark so they can actually be used (which helps!) included in the agreed price.
Just click on the email link at the top of each page, or use the contact tab and I would love to talk about how we can make the memories your day even more special, based completely on how you want your wedding to be.
