Wedding photographer Normanton Church at Rutland Water with a reception at Halstead House
It is that time of year when many couples start to wonder about their wedding plans and who to book for their all-important wedding photography. I am fortunate enough to live within a couple of miles of Rutland Water and have photographed literally scores of weddings at the wonderful Normanton Church – as well as many receptions at Halstead House which is a terrrific hidden gem just across the borders in Leicestershire.

You can imagine how pleased I was to be asked to photograph this great wedding with both venues included…..what a great choice by the couple …and what a joy to photograph.

There really is something special about a wedding at Normanton Church, Rutland. Whether it is the classic interior, or the sweeping bay leading to the church, or the fact that it is on a (man-made!) peninsular peaking out in to Rutland Water everything just seems perfect. Add some great staff and understanding Rutland registrars – and you would struggle to find better.

Moving on at this wedding we travelled to Halstead House near Tilton which is just inside Leicestershire….here I suggested the “prompted not posed” style of photography which is relaxed, informal and appears very natural.

All too soon it is time for the wedding breakfast – but not before the traditional throwing of confetti.

Whatever you style of wedding and wherever the venue – why not click on the email link at the top of any page or use the contact page to make an enquiry – it costs nothing to ask and I would love to help make your day even more special.
