wedding photography Barnsdale Lodge
This week I am looking back to a church wedding followed by a reception at Barnsdale Lodge.
Best known for great service, great food and wine, a lovely barn and courtyard, I am always delighted to be asked to photograph weddings at Barnsdale Lodge.
Let’s start by some shots at the bride’s room before setting off for the church…

I am choosing this time to show some images from the wedding album – I only use genuine Italian storybooks by Graphistudio

Couples often choose to only have the images these days and to design their own albums. That is absolutley fine and I have a great range of prices for that service – but I am also always willing to design an album for the couple – and I make sure there are plenty of shots that can be used as backgrounds as you can see in some of these album pages.

The days of boring wedding photography are truly over – thank goodness.

If the couple are confident and wish to take part, then a few posed shots are nice – but they don’t have to be that traditional as you can see.

It helps to have a photographer with thirty years experience – making sure that I have enough images suitable to use as album page backgrounds – often slighty faded to emphasise the main picture.

A few more shots above capturing the atmosphere – a technique I often use is “prompted not posed” and these shots work really well individually and together on a double page spread.

These are just a few of the photographs taken throughout the day – from the bride getting ready to the first dance and a little beyond. I can recommend that you consider Barnsdale Lodge as a potential venue and hope you have enjoyed this short teaser of my wedding photography.
